lucky duck.

i went to my new ward today. my bishop (aka father) gave the bishopric challenge of journaling everyday. he wanted us to write about how we have seen God's hand in our lives that day. i have felt really blessed for the past while in my life, so todays post is going to be blessings i have had in the past few months.

In the past seven months i have...

- finished my freshman year of college. i am greatful i can learn.

-missed my family so much. i am grateful i have them forever.

-missed my mom. i am grateful i was able to learn that the little things don't matter, so quit fighting about them and be friends.

-felt heartache. i am grateful i learned from it.

- made new friends. i am grateful for my new friends, and a little more grateful for my OLD ones.

-seen my sister return from her LDS mission. i am grateful for her amazing example.

-missed the priesthood in my home. i am grateful for my dad and brothers who always live right.

-almost froze to death. i am grateful for the inventer of coats, mittens, hats, and hot chocolate.

-barely passed a math class. i am grateful that it was most likely the last math class i will ever take.

-visited portland, oregon. i am grateful for all the different kinds of beauty on the earth.

- donated plasma twice a week, just to pay for groceries. i am grateful to live somewhere that food is available to me whenever i need it.

- returned home after being away for a long time. i am grateful for everyone in my life that makes it so GREAT.
